the beginning of American Idol is the greatest entertainment on TV in America. When you have some fat hump who thinks he/she has a shot at being
famous and their dreams are completely shot down after their audition...and then they cry or get mad or say "that's your opinion but I WILL be a
star!" and storm out of the place, it is absolutely great. To see their hearts break and to see their delusional dreams murdered makes me feel great.
