For the next two week I have been asked to cover for my friend Rob. It is a true honor to fill his shoes in a time when personal issues in his life have consumed him. It is also great to be on the road eating Waffle House, hanging with Jinx, Mike, Ben, Jesse, and Pierce. I love being on tour and seeing friends from past tours at shows. I was just gonna post this.... no offence to Collin, but what the fuck is the point of seeing Ramallah with ROB NOT SINGING!?!? Jesus Christ... that would be like Murphys Law touring without Jimmy G, Sheer Terror without Paully or Slapshot without Choke.

Rob does have quite a drug problem from things ive read over the years so who knows.
ive also read that the band has a bad habit of not showing up.
yeah whats the point of seeing them with a different singer

At least the people get to see AF. I wouldn't have any interest in seeing Ramallah if Rob wasn't singing. Plus I don't think much of Colin's vocals to begin with.

the last time I seen Ramallah...Rob was wasted....he stayed at the bar drinking shots,and told me that he hadn't slept in 3 days...I hope he gets his self together.

aside from this odd news, is there any further word about the books or the acoustic albums in the future? doubtful if he has problems he's dealing with.

That was posted after the Baltimore show, where Colin got pissed off at people wondering who the fuck he was and cut the "Ramallah" set short. No offense to Colin, but the set sucked. AF played the tightest set I've seen them do, but I really went to see Ramallah, which isn't the same without Rob. Oh, and the band only remembered about half the lyrics.

Rumor going around the show is that Rob is in rehab, though I have no idea if that's true or not. Hopefully Rob gets life straightened out soon.

Oh, and this is absolutely right, which is why people were asking between songs "Who the fuck are you?". Just not the same.

Yah I feel a little bad for Colin, I mean COA is decent, not one of my favorites, but everyone knows that Ramallah IS Rob Lind. The rest of the band almost doesnt matter at all so if you take a band that really IS one guy and you take that guy out, whats the point to seeing the band? I wouldnt even want to see BFB or S&S without Rob never mind Ramallah!!
