Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

Uncut sheets of legal U.S. money....

XHonusWagnerX - 1-22-2007 at 06:27 PM

A guy at work had some of these and I thought they were pretty cool! They are kind of pricey but funny to have. Aparently the US Government will sell you UNCUT sheets of different denominations of paper money. Aparently Steve Jobs co-founder of Apple has a ton of them that he has turned into notebooks and when he has to tip someone he rips the money out of the book. They are pricey... but maybe worth the joke.....

MONEY FACTORY

sheet of 32 $1 bills = $55
sheet of 32 $2 bills = $90
sheet of 32 $5 bills = $199
sheet of 16 $10 bills = $249
sheet of 16 $20 bills = $409
sheet of 8 $50 bills = $460

You can also get most denominations in smaller (cheaper) sheets.

Yup, right off the website, they also have $500 and $1,000 bills. They stopped making them in 1945 and stopped circulation of them in 1969.

Wow... I wonder what they are worth in the collectors market and how many of them still exist. Weird!!!

I like Canadian money.
It's colorful.

Much more fun, and more difficult to counterfit though. It's fancy!

How's about them Euros, the larger the amount of worth, the larger in physical size the bill is. Which sucks, because the 500 euro bill, is too large and sticks out of our wallets, but in europe, the dudes carry fannny packs and have different styles of wallets (at least i hope) to accomodate for this.
