JoeMacon did a video for them. They are from Boston. If you like Dark Buster also check out 'Lenny and the Pisspoor Boys'

I've been raving about these guys for several years now. I don't even know how many people I've turned on to Darkbuster, but it's quite a bit more than just my immediate circle of friends.
I just drove three hours in a winter storm, stayed in a shithole motel room, and did this by myself, just so I could see them play again. Their live shows are so much fun, there's always the feeling of being part of a family. It takes me back to when I was a young kid in the scene and all the people at the shows looked out for each other and you could become good friends just by picking somebody off the floor in the pit.

I have all of their legitimate releases and can't wait for the next record to come out. I highly recommend checking out all of their side-projects and bands that have grown out of the "Darkbuster Family", so to speak. As Honus mentioned, Lenny & The Piss Poor Boys are fucking great, but be forewarned, they play straight up old school honky tonk Country filtered through the Punk mind of Lenny. There's also Miss Amy's incredible other band, The Raging Teens, who are pure Rockabilly and really let Amy's guitar playing shine. On the more Hard Core side (probably more along the lines of most of the Thorpsters interests) check out Drago. Rice, who used to play in Darkbuster started this band a while back and stepped it up a bit when he left Darkbuster.

Look for their DVD called Drink And Fall Over, it's rough footage and some of the sound is spotty, but it has two full shows from them plus a bunch of individual songs that are pretty much available nowhere else. It'll give you a good idea of what their shows are like and it's a hell of a good time just to throw it on and watch it with some friends in your living room.

MM, as with a lot of your threads lately, I'm shocked that you like this at all. Glad to see you don't require tough guy posturing to enjoy a band.

The video is done and should be out soon. Mike Gurley is also in Drago. Paul Delano, who used to be in Darkbuster is in Mung, and Amy is also in Avoid One Thing....she recorded on their second album.

I'm also gonna add that on a non-Darkbuster related note, I'm looking for work doing music videos so any bands in the New England area who are looking for cheap yet high quality work, visit me at http://www.immaconmovies.com or http://www.myspace.com/immaconmovies or U2U me or e-mail me at info@immaconmovies.com

Thanks and sorry for the shameless plug. I need work.
