HATEBREED really kicked ass covering RATPACK.

JawnDiablo - 3-7-2007 at 09:37 AM

I listened to the Hatebreed and Nouncing Souls covers last night. Very solid.
I'll be buying this one.

Sepultura. Wait, I was thinking it was the old line up for some reason. This disk is a must have for sure.

i usally dont like 'tribute' albums all that much but this one sounds pretty sweet.

clevohardcore - 3-7-2007 at 03:27 PM

An SOIA tribute by some really good bands is always appreciated.

DeathByForce - 3-7-2007 at 04:05 PM

I heard there was supposed to be a DKM track on there.

Guess it never happened?

DKM was amongst those that wanted to appear but couldnt. Their tour schedule didnt allow them to hit the studio. The track they were gonna do was 'built to last' with bagpipes and everything. Woulda been cool.

thedog - 3-8-2007 at 01:52 AM

i will be buying this also.

i wish it was max singin with sepultura.

they were in the studio in january. too bad they couldn't have recorded a track then.

Discipline - 3-8-2007 at 01:49 PM

Only a few good bands on there. I doubt I'll bother picking it up.

Siczine.com - 3-8-2007 at 02:12 PM

I'll be adding this to my collection

I'm really only mildy interested in the Madball, Napalm Death, NRSV, KYI, and Hatebreed tracks. I bet First Blood's version of "Just Look Around" is gonna suck so bad with that dude's horrible voice.

clevohardcore - 3-8-2007 at 02:50 PM

Dudes voice does suck but the band is rad. "THEY DREW FIRST BLOOD. NOT FUCKIN ME!" Did I also mention that First Blood have terrible lyrics. The band jams though. I have to add that again.

BDx13 - 3-8-2007 at 03:18 PM

"THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU...YOU'RE FUCKIN' DEAD!!!!!!!!"

awesome.

I'm just imaging the parts of the song where it's just bass, drums, and vocals...in that dude's voice.

P.S. - I saw a kid at a show couple weeks ago wearing a First Blood hoodie that has the word FUCK printed on it no less than 4 times.

BDx13 - 3-8-2007 at 03:34 PM

that's in, juice, "THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU...YOU'RE FUCKIN' DEAD!!!!!!!!"

Yeah, of course I'm even harsher about this. I see ONE band listed that I actually like and TWO more that I usually find tolerable. On top of that, most of those songs aren't even SOIA songs that I like in the first place.

XHonusWagnerX - 3-8-2007 at 10:06 PM

Im curious to hear these tracks, but I dont think its going to be that great of a record.

Unearth "Clobberin Time/What's Going On"
Comeback Kid "Step Down"
Sepultura "Scratch The Surface"
Himsa "Maladjusted"
Suicide Machines "Goatless"
Bane "We Stand Alone"
Napalm Death "Who Sets The Rules"

joemaconmovies - 3-8-2007 at 11:08 PM

i would've gotten it for the dkm song but since they're not on it i won't be picking this up.
