I have been with this debt collection company for a little over 1/2 a year and just got promoted into a nother department. I am going from handeling the actual phone collections to the Client Services department. Basically, I will be talking with our clients and making changes to the files on our office that they need done. Decent pay jump as well from $9.60 an hour to $11.50 an hour but it kind isn't too much of a pay difference since I usually pulled in $200 - $300 for a monthly bonus at the other position. This position sound like it has more variety and I will not have anyone calling me a cock sucker, faggot, asshole, dick, etc, etc, etc and hopefully will never have to hear the phrase [southern accent]"Do what now?"[/southern accent] ever again.

I dunno about the meaning behind how your callers say "Do what now", but when it came up around me back home, it would basically translate to "What the fuck did you just say to me, asshole?". Maybe that was just central Texas style though.

Thats basically it... It's the uneducated way of saying "Can you repeate that?"

Oh, and "Have a blessed day".... Fucking people. WHY do people feel the need to express personal beliefs on the end of their awnsering machine messages? Brownie points towards your ticket in heaven? I have came across a few that have had pretty much sections from the bible on their awnsering machine messages.

Also, YES, I was indeed looking for a job for quite some time. Things are obviously going pretty good at this job and have had nothing but praise from supervisors so I am obviously doing somthing right.
