Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

Do you have a list of MUST see Bands?

CR83 - 3-16-2007 at 11:53 AM

Because of my social d thread earlier I was thinking what other bands are on my "must see" list.

1. Social D
2. 25 Ta Life/Comin' Correct
3. Ducky Boys
4. Obituary
5. Twisted Sister
6. Iron Maiden- added because of posts below. not an original thought.

Not in that order

Bands I have already checked off

1. Misfits
2. Deicide
3. Ozzy
4. B4B
5. Biohazard
6. Slayer
7. Sepultura
8. KISS- Original 4 members
9. Madball
10.Skynyrd
11.Doobie Brothers
12.SOIA
13.Skarhead

I think that is all.

clevohardcore - 3-16-2007 at 12:02 PM

I still want to see DESCENDENTS, BEASTIE BOYS, 10,000 MANIACS, THE CURE, MORRISSEY-may happen this year, MORPHINE- will never happen, DROPKICK MURPHYS, SPRINGSTEEN,
A ton of broken up bands from the early 80's

I have been to so many shows in the past I think I have seen every other band I'd ever want to see.

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 3-16-2007 at 12:09 PM

the real Van Halen and the real Lynyrd Skynyrd...I'm out of luck on both of those. AC/DC is the only other one. I've seen every hardcore band I ever wanted to with the exception of a couple bands that aren't around anymore.

XHonusWagnerX - 3-16-2007 at 12:17 PM

Most of mine are bands that are broken up, but I'm still hoping will do some kind of reunion....

Bands I "Need" to see:

Black Flag (any singer)
Misfits (Danzig, Doyle, Only & Robo or Googy)
Stars & Stripes
Carnivore (Ill take Pete Steel with any 2 guys playing the songs)
Negative FX (or at least Slapshot doing a NFX set)
Last Rights (or Slapshot doing a Last Rights set)
DYS (or at least Smalley doing the songs with Down By Law)
The Police (I'll never pay 'reunion price' to see them though)
Suicidal Tendencies

Bands that I have crossed off that list:

Bad Brains
Gorilla Biscuits (originally and the reunion)
Gwar
Circle Jerks
Ramones
Guns n' Roses
Descendents
ALL
Slayer
The Who
Kiss
DRI
Motorhead
Alice Cooper
Judas Priest (before Halford quit)
House of Pain
"The Misfits" (Doyle, Only, Chudd & Graves)
"The Misfits" (Only, Dez & Marky Ramone)
Megadeth
Helmet
Sepultura (with Max singing)
Godflesh

Theres probably a ton more bands that I am really psyched I got to see!

JawnDiablo - 3-16-2007 at 12:43 PM

I saw them when they toured with Prong and Sepultura. I went to see Sepultura. Sepultura pulled off because Max hurt his knee of something. I don't like Pantera in the least. Sorry Honus. Phil seems like a complete loser to me.

JawnDiablo - 3-16-2007 at 03:45 PM

I liked Pantera but their hardcore fans turned me off.
Phil has gone to hell in a bucket.
Diamond Darrell was excellent.

JawnDiablo - 3-16-2007 at 03:45 PM

I remember Prong....damn
they were cool for a lil while...womder where my prong cd went.....

DaveMoral - 3-16-2007 at 04:56 PM

I don't think I have a list anymore. At one time Iron Maiden would have been on that list though.

JawnDiablo - 3-16-2007 at 04:58 PM

i wish i had seen maiden when i was a kid...like back on somewhere on time's tour....

DaveMoral - 3-16-2007 at 05:07 PM

I wouldn't mind seeing them now... but damned if I'm paying ticket prices.

I'm doing nothing this weekend other than playing with my kids and my PS2 (not necessarily in that order).

I would be learning some All As One songs but you guys can't get your shit together to record them for me. Schmucks.

And I hate you even more than I did before cuz you got to see VH with DLR.

stateofdisgrace - 3-21-2007 at 01:16 PM

We are gonna have a recording this weekend. Our shit is together, just Danny is a schmuck getting stuck in CT this weekend screwing up the schedule.

2nd,we've been trying out bassists, so that takes priority over recording the songs for the time being.

3rd, I saw VH with DLR, so ha ha!

Seriously, songs by Saturday/Sunday the latest.
You interested in that 538 Johnson show or no?

DAK - 3-21-2007 at 02:52 PM

Not to rub it in, but I've seen Van Halen with Dave on the 1984 tour and Faith No More around 1989.

1984 is when I saw them, too!
