I do this all the time with The Lemonheads - Hate Your Friends album. I'll go months without listening to it. I'll dig it out one day and check it out. Then I am hooked on it for weeks.

upyerbum - 3-22-2007 at 05:19 PM

I did that with the Sex Pistols a couple weeks ago, we were drunk and spinning old vinyl (bad combination by the way) and threw on Never Mind the Bollocks and it kind of blew me away, cuz I went through a "fuck the Sex Pistols" stage and never really went back.

Jason the Magnificent - 3-22-2007 at 05:37 PM

Thin Lizzy

gavin - 3-22-2007 at 05:41 PM

Jason the Magnificent - 3-22-2007 at 06:14 PM

Leonard Cohen. Alway forget about the man but since I saw Natural Born Killers I have had a thing for the grim songs he sings about the end of times. I'm a fucking sucker for songs about the apocalypse. Plus he has this heavy, smokey voice that just cuts through you.

Voodoobillyman - 3-23-2007 at 09:11 AM

Link Wray, I will go the whole winter without listening to him. Once summer kicks off, it's Link time!!!!! I love this dudes music. RIP LW

yeah, his stuff rules. You can get a variety of greatist hits type albums from him that all rule.

Pride Kills. I jammed them constintly for quite a while then kinda forgot about them, put the in the other day and was immediately reminded why I liked them so much.

Guttermouth
Darkest Hour

Kid Ugly - 3-24-2007 at 12:10 AM

Circle Jerks. I hadn't listened to them in a couple years for some reason, then I threw them on one day and it was one of the best ideas I had in a while at the time. Re-discovering bands you love rules.

Lucabrasi - 3-24-2007 at 12:19 AM

Im not a Metal Fan at all but I was unpacking some boxes from my move and saw my Probot cd and threw it in. I fucking love this Cd. "Re-Discovering bands you love rules"

joemaconmovies - 3-25-2007 at 01:06 PM

I did this with Nirvana. Stopped listening for awhile then started again and I was blown away by how good they were and I thought how dumb I was for forgetting that.

What a coincidence...

I just started listening to Sacred Reich again this past week after they played them on Headbanger's Ball.

Tony from BCS came to pick me up for practice last Tuesday and had Judge blasting, we kept talking about how good the band was for the rest of the ride.

Discipline - 3-26-2007 at 12:28 AM

I forgot one, Butthole Surfers. So many great songs came from this band.

stateofdisgrace - 3-26-2007 at 09:46 AM

How could you forget how awesome Judge was? That's it, Muttley gets no crave case if he come to my house for Wrestlemania........
