Awesome. Ive been waiting for this. Who needs a "Who" channel anyway?

Spoiler - 4-3-2007 at 07:42 AM

The Who = one of the greatest rock bands EVER !!!

moron - 4-3-2007 at 07:53 AM

Fine, but they dont need their own channel.

XHonusWagnerX - 4-3-2007 at 08:08 AM

What kind of stuff are they playing??

defstarsteve - 4-3-2007 at 10:33 AM

listening now online
just played government issue and now playing the buzzcocks

as longs they don't start playing green day and blink 182 crap it should be pretty good
but like all radio channels after a few hours they will start to repeat shit over and over

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 4-3-2007 at 10:55 AM

I listened to the punk channel a lot over past 2 days and I heard AF, Warzone, SOIA, Minutemen, DOA, Exploited, Subhumans, Casualties, Stooges, X, etc. Steve's right about the repitition though, on a channel devoted to the huge genre of punk and it's off shoot's there's no reason why I should hear Anti Flag twice in a day...or DOA 3 times in 2 hours.

^^^^^^^^^ I fucking got ot get sirius. This sucks because its fucking rediculous to pay for radio.

Discipline - 4-3-2007 at 03:25 PM

I own enough great music that I'm not going to pay for radio.

DaveMoral - 4-3-2007 at 07:23 PM

Yeah, you know... in a day and age when you don't have to pay for music at all why pay for radio???? Seriously...

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 4-3-2007 at 08:44 PM

You pay for radio for the same reason you'd pay for cable TV, there's better shit on sattellite radio...same difference. You can steal any show or movie off bit torrent now so you don't need pay TV either really. I subscribe to both because I can and I enjoy em.

Same here.... I mainly got it for Howard Stern, but the whole service is great.

I don't like doing that either though! I'm still at a loss as to why cable just keeps getting more expensive... you'd think with improving tech and such it would be getting cheaper.

I actually heard both on that channel today (one from each band) besides that it was great. I think that channel is a added bonus! :)

I agree that it's all ridiculous in theory but here's the way I look at it: I could get by without cable and Sirius but then I'd have to watch nothing but Steve Harvey re-runs and Girlfriends (I live in a very urban market) and listen to Grover's Morning Glory in the morning or I could spend an arm and a leg and enjoy The Shield, The Sopranos, and Howard Stern.

upyerbum - 4-4-2007 at 11:38 AM

I don't listen to the radio or watch TV, (except the news and The Simpsons) but how cool is it that not only has punk never died, but now they're bouncing it off motherfucking satellites. I remember sitting on Friday nights with my finger poised over the pause button on my tape deck, tuned into the local university radio station. That's how we used to download music before the New Age kiddies.

clevohardcore - 4-5-2007 at 09:57 AM

DIY unless its on the radio and then you must spend money.

PUNK FOR PROFIT. I think its ironic to have to pay for PUNK ROCK RADIO.
