some band called themselves a hardcore band so I told them to look at the bands on my top 24 for http://www.myspace.com/4nothreadz , those are some real hardcore bands. They hadn't heard of a single one of them.
Then they wrote back:

Even though I said real recognizes real, this shit is starting to annoy me. Some band that called themselves "toronto hardcore" just called another
band which is the one that wrote that first message to me about "hxc" shows a hardcore band. What ubermike said about hardcore becoming an umbrella
genre thats totally correct but you have to draw the line somewhere. That shit doesn't even remotely sound anything like traditional or even newer
sounding real hardcore bands and its being called hardcore. What the hell ever happened to them just calling that shit fashioncore like it was a year
