Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

The demo??

stateofdisgrace - 5-9-2007 at 10:22 AM

The recording and mastering is too good to call this a demo. Its not like we recorded it in some 1/2 ass studio.

Its is now gonna be called "Time For Change". An EP.

But here lies the trouble. We are some broke fellas. We put all our available funds into recording and mastering.

The cover will remain the same.

We are looking for a label to put this thing out, help with getting some merch. We are hitting the road this summer and gotta support ourselves while doing this somehow.

Any advice would be appreciated.....

Mastered tracks are up:

ALL AS ONE

Sounds good.

Yeah it does...and I would just suggest you send the demo to smaller labels and what not.

If you want to review it for an upcoming zine release, let me know. I'll ship it to ya.

On your page listening to it now.

Wounds is probably my favorite. I still havnt heard the 'burning fight' cover.

FIE from Caught In A Trap. we initial had my twin brother doing it, but he flaked out. We then thought about Mando from F451, but he never responded to messages.

All in all, we were pleased. Fie is our long time friend and it came out great.

The two new songs we are currently polishing up are even better than these......

We were talking about that on Monday. Everyone has a different favorite. I, too like Wounds alot.
Goodbye At Last is Danny's favorite, Jimmy loves Raise A Fist, Chris likes them all the same.

I like All As One. I love anything that people can sing along to, mad gangs, etc.

Shop it to Thorp.

Siczine.com - 5-10-2007 at 05:58 PM

I made a post about that but man Thorp hasn't mumbled a thing in months.

...Also...Where'd you guys record this at?

stateofdisgrace - 5-11-2007 at 08:02 AM

I wish Thorp would put it out. We just finished writing 2 more jams that are even better than these 4.

Gonna send it to Thorp and a few others, too.

We recorded it at Atomic Studios aka Wild Arctic Studios in Long Island City. The mastering was done at Muttley's job, Digital Force.

Can't wait to record the new ones, too, but we are broke, so we have to wait until we have 2-3 more songs, which at the pace we are writing, it won't be long.
