The beast known as the record industry had offered a serious if not fatal blow to Sailor's Grave Records in the Fall of 2007 thanks to the Tower
Records bankruptcy
Now I'm more curious than ever to know what's going on with Thorp/SGR.CR83 - 5-24-2007 at 03:40 PM
I was wondering about this the other day. What is the status on releases? Just curious mainly.Murk - 5-24-2007 at 06:59 PM

it's very sad to me that people who conduct honest business almost always get fucked in the butt while the greedy fuckin slugs who would fuck their
own blood for a dime get fat cat rich..............something wrong with our system?DaveMoral - 5-24-2007 at 07:45 PM
More than a little Voodoo, more than a little.Six66Mike - 5-24-2007 at 07:52 PM
Tower still exists? I thought they went out years ago lol. The store in Toronto was wicked but closed down a good 5+ years ago. They had a wicked
magazine collection and a semi-decent punk/hardcore selection.crazyfists28 - 5-24-2007 at 07:58 PM
i just know that sailors/thorp were churnin out quality release after quality release and i certainly hope that whatever these problems are can be
dealt with so quality bands get a legitimate shot...jonnynewbreed - 5-24-2007 at 09:10 PM
It's so fucking hard to sell records these days. Even at shows. Its hard to give them away sometimes, i mean I had to pay Dicipline to take one of
mine in TO.

That sucks. Thorp/Sailors Grave has been by far the best record label that I've ever seen.tireironsaint - 5-25-2007 at 05:16 PM
I really hope things start lookin' up for the Thorp family of labels, I don't see anybody else filling this gap and definitely not with such good
people involved.
