this was just announced last night.
it's kind of MS's version of what Apple is doing with the iPhone interface.
it's definitely dope. kinda i, robot-esque.

Wow! What the fuck?!!!

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 5-30-2007 at 10:19 AM

looks cool but what's the point? It's like these companies are just competing to deliver "cool" technology that is pointless, to me at least. Oh wow I can type on a virtual phone keyboard or do finger paintings on my video screen coffee table. I'm just not sold on the benefit of all this touch screen mess.

here's a more detailed report from popular mechanics:

I can't wait for this
it will make my work in photoshop and illustrator so much faster
I thought abour getting a new touch screen laptop from dell, but nah I think I'll wait a minute on that

BDx13 - 5-30-2007 at 12:05 PM

the fact that you can affect more than one thing on screen at a time is great.

Amazing. Just amazing. Bordering creepy.

That is beyond bad ass. WOW! The camera to computer to cell phone was awsome. No connections of wires and instant transfer is images.

Can you imagine what this would do to restaurants? No need for waiters. Seriously every table would be this platform and oders would be placed by customers in exact detail without mistakes.
