That racing team is owned by the same company that owns mine. They ha HQ in Dallas on lockdown. Apparently some reporters have already tried to
sneak in.BDx13 - 6-18-2007 at 05:33 PM

Aussie driver too, dad was on the news last night & said the guy is devastated. What moron decided to run a drag race on a public street instead of a
proper grand stand with security and safety measures.XHonusWagnerX - 6-18-2007 at 06:27 PM
I didnt hear about thistireironsaint - 6-18-2007 at 06:50 PM
I believe it was 6 dead, 18 wounded. At least that's what they said on the news here last night. I can't believe that people still can be so oblivious
to taking safety measures in a day and age where people sue for anything and everything. I'm not saying the organizers shouldn't be held responsible
for this, I'm just saying I find it very hard to believe that anyone allowed such a stupid plan to happen.Discipline - 6-18-2007 at 10:49 PM

They own my employer. We are privately held. There is really one sole owner of our group of companies and he is worth close to a billion. He is one
of the nicest guys in the world. He is just an everday Joe type of guy. Really great. I'm sure he is devistated.tireironsaint - 6-20-2007 at 01:01 AM
There appears to be some confusion over the number of injured people, but it looks like it was 6 that died according to that link. It says in one spot
that as many as 15 were injured and in another that there were 20, so I dunno which it was. It looks like there is some video of the crash around, but
I'll let you google your own links for that.
