I've been on a good streak this last week or two.

Niblick Henbane- And We Fall : So fucking good. Get off your ass and buy this if you don't already own it.

Pittbull- The Very Worst of : Good old fashioned Detroit hardcore. Really good when yer pissed off.

Headstrong- L.A. Bootboys '87 : Classic-styled skinhead oi! Good for fans of U.S. oi!

Various Artists- Backstreets of American Oi! vol 2 : If you want a great sampling of American Oi! bands you can't go wrong with this two disc comp from Street Anthem Records, a cool label that deserves support. Too many bands to list them all.

Kings of Nuthin'- Fight Songs : Been wanting to pick this up since I got their SGR release. Such a good album from start to finish. It's hard to pick only one standout track.

Tiger Army- Songs From Regions Beyond: Along the same lines as their first three records. Good stuff overall. I really like this band a lot.

To be bought this coming week.

B BOYS
WISDOM IN CHAINS
BAD BRAINS
WHITE STRIPES

clevohardcore - 6-22-2007 at 02:35 AM

The Cranberries- no need to argue = $3 used
-bury the hatchet = $2 used

Foo Fighters- one by one = $4 used

Already had no need to befroe but the flood of 2 years ago ruined my copy. Never heard Bury the hatchet. Its really good though. And thanks to BD I bought a Foo Fighters cd. I always liked the stuff they released but I never actually bought a thing of theres. that song "times like these" is pretty rad.

upyerbum - 6-22-2007 at 07:33 AM

clevohardcore - 6-27-2007 at 04:03 PM

Its one of my favs on the cd. I have to admit I actually dig all of the covers though. Every band does justice to the songs. You have the style and sound of the band, but they DO NOT try and make the song there song if that makes any sense. Its a REAL tribute in the real sense.

BDx13 - 6-27-2007 at 04:13 PM

just got a bunch of cds for my wife...

pogues - red roses
tony bennett - unplugged
winehouse - back to black
bjork - volta

bjork is still around?

BDx13 - 6-27-2007 at 07:19 PM

yeah, that album just came out last month.

we went and saw her a few years ago at the brooklyn cyclone's stadium in coney island. amazing show.

clevohardcore - 6-27-2007 at 11:32 PM

I forgot of the BJORK.

I have everyhting of hers. Even the SUGARCUBES stuff. I have been trying to find a dvd of the original VHS video the SUGARCUBES did back in 1989-90. BJORK does some crazy shit in it. Same with Einor Orn. I rented it back then but never bought it. Now I have no VCR so I am hoping to find it on dvd. Not sure if it was ever released this way though.

BDx13 - 6-28-2007 at 07:26 AM

she is a creative woman.
her sound, the album art. nobody that mainstream does stuff that...odd.

clevohardcore - 6-28-2007 at 09:16 AM

Ya she is.

Vespertine my favorite. However everything she does is really really good.
My son however is a fan of POST. He rocks out everytime to the song ARMY OF ME. ;)

clevohardcore - 6-28-2007 at 09:32 AM
