Do you follow this? I'm a big Blues fan and they have 3 first round picks. I hope they get Brandon Sutter and then make a big trade
Who's your team?Siczine.com - 6-22-2007 at 08:50 PM
Been wathcing it, especially since the Flyers have the 2nd overall.
So far:
Chicago- Patrick Kane
Flyers- James vanRiemsdyk
Phoenix-Kyle Turris
I'm not totally suprised, I like the dude from what I've seen. Interesting to see if they actually keep him, rather than use him as trade bait.Siczine.com - 6-22-2007 at 08:55 PM
And I'm surprised to see Alexei Cheraponov still on the board at 16.CR83 - 6-25-2007 at 10:01 AM
It had to do w/ the current tranfer agreement w/ the NHL. Teams aren't willing to gamble that much and it cost them arm and leg.upyerbum - 6-25-2007 at 11:08 AM
I gave up on the NHL after the strike, I'm following a bit of Major Junior.Siczine.com - 6-25-2007 at 04:05 PM
Once a Flyers fans, always a Flyers fan. If the NHL shrunk down to markets like Philly, Detriot, Boston, etc,. the league would be much better
because people in these markets actually give a damn.
As much as the change of officiating, rules, style of play the little girl calls get on my nerves as does the lack of fisticuffs but it's still better
hockey then juniors, minors, etc,.upyerbum - 6-25-2007 at 07:54 PM
The more the league expands the more the talent pool broadens, its actually bringing down the league. You end up with guys who are just a fraction of
a second too slow, and end up chipping or hooking to make the play. And they're trying to remove the whole goon factor, as a matter of fact Gary
Bettman can kiss every last part of my ass.Siczine.com - 6-25-2007 at 08:10 PM

Agreed except for Columbus. I'd add the Forida teams and Phenix to this.
