This is the first I am listening to it and I am definitely into it.

Wait... They have three guitar players listed on their myspace.

Am I missing something?

Mr. Brett rejoined the band before they wrote The Process of Belief. Instead of kicking out either Greg Hetson or Brian Baker they decided just to have three guitarists. I saw them on the Warped Tour after the Process of Belief came out and they only had two guitarists on stage. They might perform with all three at times. It might depend on Mr. Brett's schedule or something.

and I honestly thought this thread was gonna be full of people shitting on Bad Religion. Im surprised.

Not their best stuff, but it's not their worst either.

Bad Religion hardcore? Meh I never thought as them as that, they have been pop punk in my mind from day one.

and this album is a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

"Suffer" is my favorite....followed by "Against the Grain".

newbreedbrian - 7-9-2007 at 11:37 PM

hmm...that's actually pretty decent. been a lonnnnnnnnng time since they put out a quality album

godabandonedme - 7-10-2007 at 10:53 AM

Exactly what I was thinking. Bands imitated Bad Religion.......making them pop punk........

When I bought my first Bad Religion album, the term pop punk didn't even exist. So yeah.
Bad Religion is definitely much more of a real Hard Core band than any of that tough guy metal bullshit that gets touted as flying under that flag.

That said, I think Bad Religion suck. I'm not even gonna take the time to listen to these songs because if it sounds like them at any point in their career, I'm gonna hate it.

ok great thaks for that. I once again know that you hate "tough guy" hardcore.
