New Throwdown

CR83 - 7-12-2007 at 05:01 PM

I didn't like Pantera there first time they were around. Ughhh.

moron - 7-12-2007 at 05:11 PM

that band gets progressively shittier

moron - 7-12-2007 at 05:12 PM

I like Pantera though.

Siczine.com - 7-12-2007 at 05:24 PM

Was never huge into them but yeah exactly what moron said.

DaveMoral - 7-12-2007 at 07:38 PM

I liked it better when they were intended to be a joke band. There's not a single original member in the gang now, and it's all about being a serious "tough guy" Huntington Beach herb.

BDx13 - 7-12-2007 at 11:53 PM

i never listened to pantera or throwdown.
booo, me.

No booing, this is something to take pride in.

clevohardcore - 7-13-2007 at 01:11 AM

Pantera = ok

Throwdown = nah.

clevohardcore - 7-13-2007 at 01:17 AM

let me be the first to say. Thsoe songs are not bad. Sorry but hey. Whatever.

panzerkreuzer - 7-13-2007 at 07:15 AM

pantera - 2 good records (vulgar display... and cowboys from hell)
throwdown - all good except vendetta

BKT - 7-13-2007 at 08:47 AM

you dont have to be blood to be family, was really good. That is all I have heard though.

MM.

JawnDiablo - 7-13-2007 at 09:18 AM

no thanks to throwdown

CR83 - 7-13-2007 at 10:25 AM

I always enjoyed Heavy K's vocals and lyrics and was always curious as to why he moved to guitar then went to 18 Visions or whatever band he's in now.

I listen to songs from you don't have to be blood almost daily

The only thing that comes to mind in terms of Throwdown, other than shitty music, is that ad for Throwdown markers sold at Hot Topic so the kids can "X up" and show they're down with sXe.

ahahhahha, for real?

Unfortunately. Yes, there were actually Throwdown markers.

Siczine.com - 7-16-2007 at 02:30 PM

Good idea because them things probably sell like hotcakes.

DaveMoral - 7-16-2007 at 06:31 PM

Hot Topic marketing is way gay. Worst thing to hit hardcore since 5 Hatebreed albums that all sound the same.

Siczine.com - 7-16-2007 at 07:18 PM

SITDOD is one of the best hardcore albums of all time.

DaveMoral - 7-16-2007 at 08:07 PM

^I agree, but there's like 3 after it that are carbon copies.

I dunno if it was discussed on here or on Lambgoat, but I remember seeing a link to those markers and if I remember correctly they were fake. Hot Topic never sold them.

DaveMoral - 7-16-2007 at 09:52 PM

^God I hope that's true... such a fucking travesty for both hardcore and straight edge if they were legit.
