Dont goto college it stanks and its hard to get motivation to do shit, and you have to work 2 jobs to pay for it

Killthehumans - 3-1-2005 at 09:59 PM

oh yeah i forgot to complain about other shit, oh well next time

BDx13 - 3-1-2005 at 10:33 PM

yeah, but the chicks!

SAAAAARS - 3-1-2005 at 10:33 PM

all of my friends except one or two have dropped out of college. i'm definitely taking time off to do a shit load of traveling before i go to college...

BDx13 - 3-1-2005 at 10:36 PM

i think waiting to go to college is a great idea. gives you more time to consider what it is you really want to do and get more serious about schooling. the downside, of course, is, once you get there, you're the old guy (or girl) in all the classes.

SAAAAARS - 3-1-2005 at 10:39 PM

whether i'm older or younger i'll probably hate all of my classmates and be a loner.

moron - 3-1-2005 at 11:31 PM

If I didnt go to college right out of high school I dont think I ever would have gone. I was really lucky and my parent's paid for my schooling, but I went to a cheap school and lived at home for most of my college years. I didnt really have much to complain about during college. I did work about 20-30 hours a week to pay for my car and beer, but that was easy work.

I thought I'd be a loner because I was really quiet in high school, but I really opened up in college and met lots of cool people. There were definately tons of complete fucking idiots (especially having gone to a lower end state school), but overall I had a good experience. I fucking wish I was back in college now!!! Of course, I'd want it all to be the same as it was while I was there, but that'll never happen.

GabeTexasGAMC - 3-1-2005 at 11:44 PM

hahahah Im just too broke.

i hated the way my school system taught and the kids i went to school with so much that i begged my parents to let me be homeschooled. unfortunately i'm past the point of giving people the benefit of the doubt, i really have very few good friends. and i like it that way.

Killthehumans - 3-2-2005 at 02:19 PM

I have only 1 or 2 friends here , but i do have people im "friendly" with.. At least there are hardcore shows here sometimes. is also go home on weekends to work and hang with my freinds. The only thing here i hate is all the artsy farts and jocks and the dipshits who listen to poison the well. SO basically what SAAARS said.

GabeTexasGAMC - 3-3-2005 at 03:05 AM

I hear ya on that one Gabe. I never had the choice or the money to go to college. I always had to work to help mom pay bills and keep food in the house.

BDx13 - 3-3-2005 at 02:47 PM

having the financial resources to attend college is probably the least appreciated aspect of the average college student's life. amazing. just seems like kids rarely care about what it is they have going for them.

Discipline - 3-3-2005 at 02:55 PM

I've just been told I'm going to get an all expenses paid trip through college or university from workers compensation due to my injuries being permanent. I'll still be paid benefits as well while I go. This is the opportunity of a lifetime and almost makes the pain worth it. I will definatley take advantage of this. I understand not having the money to go because I've been there, so this is a chance of a lifetime.

Killthehumans - 3-3-2005 at 05:17 PM

Yeah college is way too expensive now...even in a state school..im from a middle class family and need 2 jobs to pay for it. IN general its because cost of living goes up and real wages go down.

I haven't decided. I'm exploring all my options. Two things I'm considering are political science, or on the opposite end of the spectrum I'm also looking into becoming a mortician.

Killthehumans - 3-3-2005 at 07:15 PM

Not quite a rich kid...im lacking a few main components of that....for me to be a rich kid i have to listen to poison the well, Write poorly written poetry about how my life stinks and no one understands me and cut my hair so it looks like i have a skunk on my head.

GabeTexasGAMC - 3-4-2005 at 12:35 AM

HAHAHAHHA! damn i wish i was a rich kid. Shit i wish i was still a kid.

CR83 - 3-4-2005 at 09:22 AM

I loved college. I was lucky enough to go to a good school via loans. People I went to school with were able to have Mom and Dad pay and send them money. I got to work in the cafeteria doing dishes. I learned a lot and recommend to anyone to give it a shot. Not only that, with a degree you do (usually) make more money in a career. College was awesome and easy. The parties and whores were incredible.

BDx13 - 3-4-2005 at 10:19 AM

yeah, a lot of the time it doesn't even really matter what you degree is in, so long as you actually graduated college, you'll either land a better job or a better paying job.
