"Game" Meat

RomanticViolence - 3-2-2005 at 12:50 PM

Do any of you eat "game"? What i mean is like deer or rabbit..ect.

BDx13 - 3-2-2005 at 12:53 PM

i have, but not regularly. venison is good, rabbit is small and difficult to navigate the bones. i like the idea of bison burgers and shit like that, cause of the lower fat content, but it's just too damn expensive.

I once ate monopoly.

har har

I had venison once, but it was in a soup so I couldnt really taste it. Other than that, I cant really think of any "game" animal Ive had unless duck counts. Duck is so fucking fatty and greasy.

I'm not into hunting.. but my uncle gives me some great venison every season...

I tried duck before... at a fancy Chinese restaurant in Warwick, RI. It was GREAT!

when cooked right, venison is SO GOOD !!!

LilOz - 3-2-2005 at 01:46 PM

I eat venison regularly.

Duck is awesome too.

My friends mom gets all kinds of moose meat every year from her crazy hunter of a brother. I love the shit. We have moose burgers, moose steaks, and she makes a moose stew that's so good it'll make your dick hard.

oh yeah, i forgot about moose meat. that shits good too.

moron - 3-2-2005 at 11:17 PM

well, I had some duck tonight and it was fucking good. I had a few glasses of wine before I ate it, and anything tastes good when youre drunk but I think it tasted good.

yay for free booze at company dinners!

I have the feeling I'm going to be outcasted but I'm one of those people that dont dig the whole hunting thing. And engage in ruthless conversation when people (my girlfriends Father) call hunting "Game" (I know this was not the context in which it was originaly intended on this thread). But I've always wanted to see hunters vs animals. I mean really, animals with all types of artilary. Chipmunks with machettes, squirrels with assault rifles, deer with 9mm, animals shooting back. That to me would be game.... Since thats not gonna happen, I dont like hunting or eating the meat from a "hunted" animal.

but do you like the taste!?

HAHAHHA!

MyOwnWay - 3-3-2005 at 11:28 AM

Well... Heres the thing. I actually compromised this value on Thanxgiving. My girl wanted me and the kids to go to her parents for this "holiday". We ate wild turkey that her Father hunted himself. Myself and the kids were picking out pellets from the meat. We were biting down on pellets that were in the meat. He was just picking the shit out. Me and the kids werent into it at all. And I was kinda pissed at how unorthodox and unsafe that is. When you bite down on a pellet from a bullet it takes the taste outta anything...

Most "game" meat I dont like. Anything I did care for as a kid, I've willingly given up.

GabeTexasGAMC - 3-3-2005 at 11:53 AM

dude, thats fucking gross.
i dont like hunting, i dont like game meat.
I love good ole processed meat.
