How do I get the date to be correct on the board????

do you have a problem other than the year displaying at 0707?
if that's the only issue, i have to fix it in the code somewhere, but i don't know where.
if it's something else, lemme know and i'll look into it.

It's no big mdeal. Everytime i change the date it stays the same until I change it again. It shoows every post the same date everytime.

i'm not sure what you mean.
when you change the date where? the "Date Format" part within control panel/options section of your account?
