i have a 4 gig one right now, it works great any everything but i need more space, so i'm thinking of breaking down and getting an ipod video.
but does anyone know when the next gen is coming out?
i wouldn't want to spend the $$ then a month later the new ones come out then the old ones drop in price.

if you don't want one of the BRAND new ones, hunt around for the ones they currently have after tomorrow, they should be discounted.

as funny as that would be to own one of those, i want something that is like 30+ gigs and plays videos.

if you're looking for something different and cheaper than an iPod, check out www.archos.com I just got one of these. They sell refurbished ones for a good price. They have up to 160gb.

I got a 30 GB video ipod and only have about 8 GB left. So I would suggest a 60 or 80 if you get one. I ahve about 1000 cd;s on mine with no video and
it took that much space. I now wish I have a 80GB.

I bought a 4 gb Sony mp3-player last year and I'm still very satisfied with it. At first the software especially was hard to use and it was constantly
crashing the whole computer when used. Luckily I got it fixed and even realized how the program works and after that everything has been quite easy.
And it only costed about 220 euros!

Apple announced the new iPod...doesn't look any different except the outside shell is metal. Has a new user interface and is available in 80gb
($249), 160gb ($349). ZZZzzzzZZZzzzz if you ask me.

just saw this...iPod touch...the iPhone without the phone...exactly the same except a little thinner (wifi, safari, youtube, etc included). $299 for
8gb, $399 for 16gb
much more impressive but too expensive for such little storage space.
