it's better than Another Voice. Although the firts seconds of the album sounds awfull and I got it fright it got hijacked by a hatebeed type sound. But certainly from track 6 onwards the album really kicks ass. Dangerous thing to say, but I think ( after 1 listen) it's seriously better than the new Madball

clevohardcore - 10-11-2007 at 02:54 PM

what date is this to be released?

bombidol - 10-11-2007 at 04:14 PM

its up on old tyme hardcore too, ill pick it up too when its out.

gavin - 10-11-2007 at 10:46 PM

blah
not feelin it

JawnDiablo - 10-11-2007 at 11:02 PM

got it off demonoid and doubt i'll ever listen to it again
not my cup of tea at all.

tireironsaint - 10-11-2007 at 11:27 PM

If the rest of it sounds like those two songs they posted on myspace I'd rather not ever hear it. I'm definitely not interested in going to the trouble of finding some place to hear it early and so unless someone buys it and brings it to my house to play it for me, I doubt I'll ever hear the damn thing. I'd happily go see them play if they were ever to come out this way, but I'm thinkin' I'm pretty much through buying new releases from these guys for however much longer they're around.

Murk - 10-11-2007 at 11:42 PM

i just checked out some of it.

i like the music, but the vocal style and the way it's mixed ruins it for me.

Lucabrasi - 10-12-2007 at 02:27 AM

I find myself liking agnostic front less and less throughout the years.

bombidol - 10-12-2007 at 04:21 AM

Its more the recording style than the songs themselves I find. The records are recorded like hatebreed records which doesnt suit the songs. They need to lo fi it a little more.

brooklyn - 10-12-2007 at 05:06 AM

fully agree with BombIdol. The songs are good but production isnt AF style

I'm completely the other way on this , I find myself liking them more, but I was never a fan in the 80's/90's.

gavin - 10-12-2007 at 09:05 AM

all i know is that the alligators is the best thing roger has done since victim in pain

MyOwnWay - 10-12-2007 at 09:50 AM

AF has always had a more metal sound than most Hardcore bands (in their era). The style they have now doesnt suprise me in the least. I dig the music and compared to Hatebreed and so on, the metal influence could be a lot worse. I still consider AF to be a Hardore band whereas Hatebreed is definitely metal. New AF is real good.

Yep, thats my two cents.

Explain, please. The Alligators?

MikeFromInhuman - 10-12-2007 at 11:29 AM

The Alligators = Roger Miret on vocals with the guys from Insted on drums, guit, bass.
Total HARDCORE, no metal at all.

I like the new AF a lot.

gavin - 10-12-2007 at 11:37 AM

yeah
what mike said

upyerbum - 10-12-2007 at 11:51 AM

I was unaware, gonna' have to check this out.

upyerbum - 10-12-2007 at 05:20 PM

Sweet. Just gave it a listen. All hardcore drummers, take note.

Discipline - 10-12-2007 at 07:18 PM

Alligators is good shit. I have the 7 inch that was released like a year ago.

I'll always love AF.

Jason the Magnificent - 10-12-2007 at 09:11 PM

first time i'm hearing the alligators, decent...great to hear roger not doing that marbled mushmouth bullshit

newbreedbrian - 10-12-2007 at 11:27 PM

yup, alligators kicks much ass. i wish newer agnostic front records sounded like that

brooklyn - 10-13-2007 at 12:29 AM

anybody has Alligators as MP3?

Discipline - 10-13-2007 at 11:18 AM

Check the Indecision Records website. They might have something there.

^^^^^^^^^^ I found out about them about last year or so. I could have swoprn it was from that one TSHIRT guy from Florida. Remember the one selling ENDPOINT, TURNING POINT, UNDERTOW, and others. He was using the supossed original print approved from the bands. Anyway he was lsiting them on his site and sending out MYSPACE bullitens ont hem. Then ROger and VInnie and INSTED were to as well.

Lucabrasi - 10-15-2007 at 02:48 AM

I never heard of them either but I liked what I heard on their myspace and I just bought both of their 7inches. Im impresed with what i've heard so far.

upyerbum - 10-15-2007 at 11:45 AM

Yeah, you weren't the only one BD, I had no clue either.

BDx13 - 10-15-2007 at 12:38 PM

i ordered both 7"s as well.

tireironsaint - 10-15-2007 at 02:16 PM

I coulda sworn we talked about The Alligators on here at one point. Great stuff anyway, MUCH better than most AF in the past decade or so.

upyerbum - 10-15-2007 at 03:08 PM

I would have felt really stupid if I'd replied in that thread.

tireironsaint - 10-16-2007 at 12:11 AM

Funny how that became more of a thread discussing the fruityness of 7 Seconds instead of about the good band it was meant to discuss.

tireironsaint - 10-16-2007 at 12:12 AM

Now that I think about it, this thread has gotten pretty far off track as well. Here, lemme get it back on topic, that new AF sucks balls.
