That album cover is their "fuck you Victory" as their last record of the contract, which is why its a best of & extremely shit artwork.

I still dig their first EP that came out on Tribunal but haven't been able to get into anything else.

If I recall that story correctly, its Victory's fuck you to Atreyu. The band was under lock and key contractually. Hollywood records came in with their dollars to where Tony had no choice but to let them go. Not a lot of good came from Atreyu leaving Vicotry in Tonys eyes. So he decided to release a "best of" at the same time as their newest album because he wanted an album on the shelf to sell. The band (again on trying to remember correctly) didnt have a say in the releasing of this best of, artwork, or any marketing tools.

Truth is, 'suicide notes' is a good metal album, and I dig their newer shit as a modern hard rock. These guys were never Hardcore and I fucking hate the kids that categorized them as such.
