I hope it's better than the last M.O.D. album, as it was a big let down a far as I'm concerned.panzerkreuzer - 10-23-2007 at 10:20 AM

ummmm i kinda remember the shark with the surfboard on the cover but i couldnt tell you a song on it if my life depended on it
what was on it?XHonusWagnerX - 10-23-2007 at 10:54 AM
Surfin' M.O.D. was a parody of the movie 'Back to the Beach' most of the dialog in between the songs came from that movie.
The last M.O.D. record was 'Rebel You Love To Hate' I thought most of it was pretty good.BKT - 10-23-2007 at 11:03 AM

Party Animals off Surfin IS the best MOD song and probably one of the best songs ever in general.

The whole point is to be offensive, but in a funny way. Just like S.O.D.panzerkreuzer - 10-23-2007 at 11:40 AM

I want to get the older stuff. I used to skate to them. A metalhead skater friend used to bring the tapes at every party. I go tthe last one where
they rip on RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and RAMSTIEEN among others.. IT was out 2002 or so.XHonusWagnerX - 10-23-2007 at 03:33 PM

Thats 'The Rebel You Love To Hate'. Theres also that song that is a total rip on almost EVERY KISS song! I love the guitar solo in that song! The
Wigger song is funny too!clevohardcore - 10-23-2007 at 03:35 PM

I still love SOD, but never really got into MOD. I think it's kinda funny that once he got rid of the Metal band backing him, Milano's band got more
Metal. He lives in Austin now and works at the club where my old band with Steve used to play almost weekly for a while there.XHonusWagnerX - 10-23-2007 at 07:19 PM

Rythym of Fear had tracks like Get Up & Dance, Irresponsible, and Rally (NYC). Great record.
Can never go wrong with their greatest hits record, "Loved By Thousands...Hated by Millions."
S.O.D. fucking ruled. Speak English or Die is still an amazing record to this day. I also liked their second, some great tunes on there. I also have
all three of the S.O.D. dvd's.clevohardcore - 10-24-2007 at 10:47 PM
are they dvd's any good? I always want to grab one but fear it would be a waste of money. No dissing ont he band but I don't know. What is the best
one to grab?Discipline - 10-25-2007 at 05:16 PM
Speak English or Live is awesome, it's the rerelease of the old Live At Budokon vhs. Kill Yourself:The Movie is pretty sweet as well. The 3rd one
(the name escapes me and I'm too lazy to go look) is okay, but not as good as the first two.JawnDiablo - 10-25-2007 at 05:36 PM
I have video footage of MOD playing some frat party in 93 some place in upstate NY. Togas on people and meat heads getting into fights.
Got some SOD footage of them in SF from 99 I think.
I'd like to see em.upyerbum - 10-25-2007 at 05:58 PM
Speak English or Die went platinum 2 or three years ago I believe. Discipline - 10-25-2007 at 05:59 PM
Yeah, Megaforce released a Platinum Edition on cd with two new tracks and a live set.
I saw S.O.D. on my birthday on the "Killith Fair" tour back in 99 or 2000 I think. It was fucking great.DAK - 10-25-2007 at 06:17 PM
I saw SOD in San Antonio at a 2 day metal fest in 1999/2000. It was the biggest circle pit I have ever seen. Fuckers were eatin' concrete hard.XHonusWagnerX - 10-25-2007 at 06:53 PM
Ive never seen S.O.D. or M.O.D. clevohardcore - 10-25-2007 at 09:46 PM
Ok. finding this record is now becoming a challenge. No store in my area is carrying it. Maybe have to order online
