are hard reads. Amazing writings but very tough to assemble.

That's how I feel about Dostoevsky. I really wanted to read some of his better known works, and it was somewhat difficult to get used to the style of writing and use of language. It was worth it though.

Dostoevsky?

I'll check that out after this class is over. I'm new ot this type of style. Short story and poems were never badd ass to me but they are now. Kind if like a kick ass song that moves you. Poems a cool.

i tried to read crime and punishment on three seperate occasions. fuck it.

when it comes to the classics, i'm a huge chuck dickens fan. it's worth it to read books like his with some cliff's notes or something, though. there's so much commentary on the political climate of the time woven into the narrative, but it's hard to pick up on if you're not familiar with the issues of the day.
