orgcore does look a little like mark.
i actually miss "prehistoric emo" - i'd take them over the current "generic emo" types any day.

This is one of the funniest things Ive seen in a LONG time! Totally made me laugh!! I saw it on Myspace when Mark Lind posted it and it was just as funny seeing it here for the second time.

I figure I am...

1 part MortalKombat Core: elgently disheveled hair
1 part SXE Mosh Warrior: modest plugs
1 part Prehistoric Emo: thick framed glasses
3 parts Orgcore Punker: beard, new balance sneakers & iconic band tattoo
1 part hardcore toughguy: band hoodie

cargo shirts
high top vans

too many skateboard scars

deep hatred for all of the people listed above....
listens to the bands that tipper gore tried to ban
before her husband became some kind of hero, (manbearpig)

could care less what most of the scene thinks or listens to, becasue I have bills to pay
and kids of my own to raise so they don't up like those fruits in the scene

I should make up a back in the day set...
this is late 80's so cal set complete

there was youth crew kid
super skinny, yot longsleeve, jeans and pucca necklace, spicoli's

there was long haired hesser dude
ride the lightning tour shirt, flannel shirt, tight black jeans, chucks

skin head guy
shaved head, of course
flight jacket
white t-shirt, (or fred perry if he had to dress up)
braces
ox-blood doc's
black jeans

goth guy also cure guy
black (like my soul) clothing, white powder face,
100 degrees out and your pale as fuck and coverd in black from head to toe, wtf?
hair, see robert smith

as for girls
goth girl, see goth guy, hard to tell them apart sometime

new wave girl
depeche mode shirt
nose in the air since you were not british or in college

skater/surfer kid
hair varied, from shaved to long but who cared lets go skate
long shorts but not over the knee, high top vans or vision street wears
and t&c surf desingns or maui and son's t-shirt, or powell shirt, preferably animal chin shirt, (me)
hung out with all of the above as did everyone else
