yeah ...well said.
It's been ages since I've been out on South Street at night.
Is the shop you work at down there?
I was driving through not too long ago and I saw they tore down the old South Street Tattoo at 13th...I heard that dude had aids or sumtin...

gavin - 12-11-2007 at 12:32 PM

yeah
im between 6th and 7 on south
right across from where tower records was

south street tattoo has been gone for a while
from what i heard it kept changing ownership after frank died years ago
they were doing shit tattoos for cheap on black people and then they would have to come to my shop and pay more to get it done right
im glad they are gone even though i got my first tattoo there when i was 17
but whatever
fuck 'em

I've had a few of those moments. Shit happens. Although a couple of times it was, in hindsight, my fault. One prime example would be going to see that movie Higher Learning in theaters years ago. The audience was about 85% black, and they were vocal about their hatred of the skinheads in the movie. Probably would have been a good night to leave the boots and braces at home, but I didn't even think about it. I seriously thought I was going to get lynched that night.

Haha, shit. That's almost a no brainer. Then again, did you even know there was going to be Nazi skins in that movie?

The movie was a last minute decision as my buddy and me had nothing else going on that night. So I went as I was already dressed. Almost paid for it too.

As for Skrewdriver, lyrics aside I love the band.
