I don't see TOHO giving anyone the rights to Godzilla after the garbage that was Universal's Godzilla. TOHO hates that so much it's officially NOT
Godzilla in the Godzilla universe and another monster named Zilla that Godzilla punks in Godzilla: Final Wars. That franchise is retired for something
like 10 years to get people interested in seeing it rampage again.

basically this is the biggest hype machine that is going on
there is a ton of back story and if you have the time look into it all...
some of it's pretty cool...
short version
we took some stuff from the bottom of the ocean and turned it into a drink
then we dumped off a ton of pollution
the monster has mutated from the junk and has come for the original substance
the substance will either turn you into a monster, or a bite from a smaller one will...
