My NYE consisted of a large quantity of sweat and drinking water, air conditioning in the bedroom cranked, and we were in bed by 9:30.

i got two giant steaks and two bottles of champaign in the fridge.
gonna fire up the grill around 9 tonight then chill out and watch a movie.
it's 32 degrees now and the wind is whippin off the farm, so i'll probably have to take a nice glass of scotch with to keep me warm.

got some scaramuzza's manicotti, sauce, some chicken cutlets, cajun shrimp, peperoni, cracker barrel cheese, TGI fridays nukeable appetizers and other
crap.
gonna cook, eat , and get fatter.
got a new bottle of wine, a big ol jug of Dago red, 13 chesterfields and some sailor jerrys rum.
im gonna be well fed and drunk as a sailor when the ball drops.
I'd like to wish each of ya a happy new year. dont drink n drive, and stay off the smack.
In retrospect, 2007 turned out to be a great year for me. A bunch of shit turned around for the better in my life. There was a binch of crap fucking
me up for the last few months, but I think I might have a hold on things. I am going to try and make 2008 even better if I can.

Apparently Radiohead is doing a live Internet show at midnight or something at current.com? My cousin posted it on his facebook so who knows.
It's been 2008 here for 14.5 hours and fucking hot like you wouldn't believe. Yesterday's high was 42.2C (108F) and at midnight it was 30.5 (87F)
still!
Today is still fucked around 40C again and around Adelaide in some of our network rooms etc temperature reading have hit 72C...that's 162F 
I'm surprised routers and shit just don't start melting.

another awesome low-key new year's last night. had a couple glasses of quarter cask laphroaig with my giant ribeye, roasted potatoes and caesar salad
while watching ocean's 13. toasted the new year with a couple glasses of korbel and was in bed by 1.
