DAK - 1-11-2008 at 11:33 AM

Great band.

panzerkreuzer - 1-11-2008 at 11:50 AM

love them, even with their new singer.
you need all 7"s of them, or the collection cd.

chris - 1-11-2008 at 11:51 AM

great band, I'd love ot see them live someday.

random - 1-11-2008 at 12:10 PM

www.musicsucks.com Go to records and they have everything streaming online. Great band.

upyerbum - 1-11-2008 at 12:35 PM

I checked them out solely because Ed is wearing a BoneCrusher t-shirt on the back of The Welch Boys album. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised, I've been listening everyday for about a month now. I picked up "Working For Nothing" and "Followers of a Brutal Calling" anybody got any suggestions, and are these guys still playing?

Great band...been under the radar for years because most american skins in the past decade were busy sweating english culture instead of american.

soooo many good songs.

Maybe, but its also just hard to find their stuff and they never really left California.

XHonusWagnerX - 1-11-2008 at 01:40 PM

I learned about them from the Blue Bloods when I was tourinng with them in Europe. They used to cover a song by them everynight (I cant remember which one), but they let me play bass on it!

True to a degree, anything's hard to find prior to the internet boom, but thats that was partially the fun of this type of music as it took effort to get. Pretty much since mp3's were invented those guys have had their stuff on websites for free though.

Another great underrated band.

Discipline - 1-11-2008 at 02:20 PM

BadVibes mentioned them on here a couple fo times and I checked them out. Great fucking band. I still need to grab some of their stuff.

upyerbum - 1-11-2008 at 02:31 PM

MP3 Ninja has a lot of their shit. That's where I found it.

BDx13 - 1-11-2008 at 03:48 PM

thanks for the music sucks reference.
recommendations of what you like best from them?

Jason the Magnificent - 1-11-2008 at 04:05 PM

Everything. No one ever told them they didn't have to write ALL good songs.

DAK - 1-11-2008 at 04:17 PM

My favorite is Working For Nothing.

CR83 - 1-11-2008 at 06:16 PM

Yeow! Count me on the Bonecrusher Bandwagon. This shit is so good.

Exactly.

tireironsaint - 1-11-2008 at 09:54 PM

Absolutely one of my favorite bands. Each release is better than the previous and there seems to be no stopping them. I HIGHLY recommend picking up everything they've ever done. Yes, they put pretty much everything up for free somewhere, but they are definitely worth supporting by actually buying their CDs. When they have them for sale on their site or through myspace they sell them for really fucking cheap anyways, so there's really no point in not supporting them when possible.
I could swear that we've talked about them a few times on here already, so shame on anyone who is just now getting on board with these guys.

tireironsaint - 1-11-2008 at 11:26 PM

Completely forgot to mention that I'm wearing my Bonecrusher shirt right now. I actually haven't worn it in quite a while as it was buried in my closet at the house I recently moved out of and so it's pretty odd that this thread pops up on the same day I'm wearing it again.

newbreedbrian - 1-11-2008 at 11:29 PM

great band. i agree, completely under the radar for some reason

Voodoobillyman - 1-12-2008 at 03:54 AM

Love me some Bonecrusher, I have the 7" collection CD, and DAK sent along a copy of working for nothing I've been rockin out to! Thanks again bro!

Man, if that's all you've heard then you haven't even heard 'em since Raybo left. I thought for sure they would go downhill after he left, in fact, I compared it to Sheer Terror trying to continue without Paulie. Man was I ever wrong. Those guys got even better without skippin' a beat. If I can get my burner to work I'll put some stuff together for you, Voodoo.

Appreciate it bro. I thought the singles collection went back, guess I was wrong.

The singles collection covers a pretty good span, but they've been going without their original singer (the one who is on that CD) for about 5 years now, maybe even 6 and they've seriously gotten much better. That's really rare, at least I think so. Usually a band with a distinctive vocalist turns to shit when they try to replace him, but these guys blow me away. Not that they weren't good before, they've been one of my top 10 since I got into 'em, but all the stuff they've done since Raybo quit has grown by leaps and bounds.

Appreciate it bro. I thought the singles collection went back, guess I was wrong.
