My first bike ride to work:)
I just road my bike to work for the first time since getting it last week. It measured 13.5 KM and felt like it was mostly uphill but good none the
less. Biking down the waverley road was the best part, low traffic volume, birds, lakes etc.
I did make a mistake though. Going down Braemar/Octerloney in Dartmouth, I started up Maple drive (big hill) got tired half way up and went laterally
to the next street over to the left. This little kid was yelling something at me as I made the turn that I couldn't quite make out. I gave him the
thumbs up and kept on going only to find out that he was yelling that the next hill over is twice as steep. I had to dismount and walk up it.
The lesson for the day is to always listen to the chubby neighborhood kids as they will know the path of least resistance to the top every time.
