mp3 player

Hey, can any of you technologically inclined guys or girls recommend a CHEAP mp3 player for me to use while I run? I don't care if it only holds an hours worth of music, i just don't want it to cost anywhere near the price of a fucking ipod. Thanks for the help, Todd.

the new iPod Shuffle is good for running - it uses flash memory which won't skip. they're small, light as shit, and, believe it or not, cheaper than most comparable mp3 players.

512MB
120 songs
$99

- or -

1GIG
240 songs
$149

depending on how you would use your mp3 player, there is one drawback - there is no screen to show you what's playing. but if you're running, i expect you're probably not fucking around with reading track names. it has controls (forward, back, shuffle on-off, etc), and you just use itunes to upload a playlist or whatever albums you want to hear, then play them on the road.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
