see people like me and todd are old and hate things
someday maybe youzz will undertsnd
i doubt it
anyway, when every band that comes along sucks, it is easy to dismiss everything
so, along came blood for blood and i didnt care for a long time
then some thug kid i knew told me that i would like them and i listened and god damn if he wasnt right
they are THE ONLY newish hardcore band that is doing anything i can relate to
so, i am going to burn some stuff for my man todd cuz he will understand and like this the same way i do.
sorry if we aint as hip as some of youzzz but we were raround before youzzz and will still be around when most of youzzz go get a "real" job and a square life

I think I've said it in here before, but Blood For Blood is THE band that made me think Hard Core wasn't completely hopeless after all. I had pretty much given up all hope of ever hearing another band that could be called straight up Hard Core that was worth a shit when I first stumbled across them. I remember a friend of mine telling me that somebody played a CD for him from a band that was so negative he couldn't handle it and that he couldn't believe anybody was doing anything like that. I knew immediately that I wanted to check them out, what I didn't know was that I would immediately find what had been missing from every new band I had heard in the past several years. That was back when the first album came out and they've definitely changed since then, but I still love Blood For Blood. I can most fuckin' definitely relate to Mr.BadVibes and TTF, especially when it comes to being an old cranky motherfucker.

BFB are amazing.........I fucking despise most nowadays hardcore or whatever the fuck you wanna call it, but much like the poster earlier in this thread, I'm an old fucker and the glory days were something to behold and BFB brought a great deal of that old school feeling back. What puts BFB over the top for me is the huge injection of rock n roll and even pop elements in their tunes (Rob is a fucking 80's pop freak - not to mention he LOVES Oasis).......so you mix all those elements in the brew and it's so intense on one hand and so honest and catchy and who-gives-a-fuck-fuck-you in the other and how the hell can you not like it???

I too love BFB. What I love about them is when you are at their show, you can't help but get invovled. They are just so powerful in motivating people to get up off their asses. That's exactly why I love this type of music. You just get so jacked when it's on and pumped up.

I have always considered B4B as new. They are one of the best fucking bands out their. I also remember when 7 seconds released OURSELVES and BAD BRAINS released QUICKNESS. Or when A.F. Live at CBGB'S and SOIA's blood sweat and no tears all came out.

At a show about 2 years ago some band from the east coast I fogot the name but they sucked. htey played with Most Precious Blood. Anyway The singer said "THIS GOES OUT TO ALL ALL YOU OLD SCHOOL FUCKERS WHO REMEMBER WHEN EARTH CRISIS RULED" I don't think the singer actually shaved yet? He looked like the kid who delivers papers in the neighborhood.

WHAT THE FUCK???

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.
