I'm in Iceland...right now.

Just flew in on the red eye. My company has me set up in a posh hotel called the hotel Saga. I arrived and they had a full "artery buster" breakfast for free. I plowed in bacon, eggs, sausage, beans, bread and juice and then went to sleep for a few hours.

It was windy as balls when we arrived but the weather looks great out there now.

It's a longshot but are there any Thorpsters here? Looking for some fun.

ha! i don't think we're had any icelanders active on this board.
i know there's a HC scene there, though, so we expect a full report!

good so far. got fucking shitfaced last night listening to Icelandic Raggae (really good stuff). Not feeling so good now. Jamisons and Viking brand beer don't mix that well. I feel like the two nations are waring in my guts as we speak.

Haven't done any sightseeing but will post picks as soon as I get some. There is a cool band called "Reykjavik" that I was hanging out with last night.

Word.

Tell them about the band BOSTON. They are supposed to be good. Maybe they could tour with EUROPE.

another good night last night. Way too drunk though. We saw and american bands called Brant Bjork. Stoner rock and not really my thing but the locals were freaking out. Today we climb the mountians.

I'll take photos of the animal heads for you. Today I saw a guyzer/hotspring. Bubbling water comes out of the ground so hot it will take your skin off.

Very cool place...very strange place too.

Iceland looks pretty interesting from what ive seen on them travel channel shows.
avoid the rotted shark meat though.
I'd say enjoy yourself, but judging by the goodies you have already consumed I'd say enjoyment is already underway!

Nice day out today. Went looking at some record shops and some T shirt shops. One is awesome and is called Naked Ape. Don't know if they have a website but really cool local handmade shirts.

Took it easy last night and went to bed at midnight.
