I even like the new one, people bag on it but its just more of a metal album than a hardcore trying to be metal album.

never. i thought the same for first 10 or so listenings, but the album grows with every listening. it´s definately a killer.

It needs to be said that I love all ringworm. I think you could have HF scream over someone grinding fiberglass bath tubs and it would sound amazing.
...but imo nothing they have done or will ever do comes close to the promise.
i think in order to like grand design you have to have a liking of real metal, its definitely not a hardcore album in any sense of the word...its just
a damn good album.
