a lot of people blame hi for the current crisis.
this was an interesting line and the fundamental problem, i believe:
Greenspan, who headed the nation's central bank for 18 1/2 years, said that he and others who believed lending institutions would do a
good job of protecting their shareholders are in a "state of shocked disbelief."
people can't be trusted. putting that much power and that much money in front of someone without a firm regulating body is just too much temptation.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I agree, BD. Someone's gotta keep things in check, especially when you're talking about something that has such a huge influence on the economy.

I have no answers or I am not championing Greenspan. All I'm saying is that dude sneezes and everyone listens. Even when he's gone people still want
his input.
