New STORE, New ALBUM DOWNLOADS, New MERCH, New SALE, New CONTEST

We’ve relaunched the Sailor’s Grave Records online store and are now offering all albums as digital downloads for just $8.99 – that’s a buck cheaper than anywhere else!

To celebrate, we’re running a contest through the month of March. Sign up for the new SGR newsletter at http://www.sailorsgraverecords.com and not only will you receive a coupon good for 50% off a digital download (details in your confirmation email), but we’ll also select one lucky winner to receive the SGR album of their choice along with our new SGR “Contemptible Scoundrel” t-shirt!

What’s this “Contemptible Scoundrel” t-shirt, you ask? See below. They’re available now for just $10. We’ve also got a new “Work is the Curse” t-shirt from Thorp Records, also available for $10.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

What format/quality is the digital music done in? Amazon does V0 bitrate mp3 which is pretty awesome.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
