New Mark Lind album?

Just saw something about recording in July when I checked one of my email accounts I rarely look at. Will this be another ML release like Compulsive Fuck Up? Another SGR album? Something else?

Any comments on the new tracks?

And Mark, you should post more acoustic working tracks on myspace like you used to... that's some good shit. No offense, but I still like that version of "Hello, My Brother" more than the Unloved version. Somehow seemed more personal, as it should have been.

Not that I know of... Mark used to put low-res acoustic versions on his myspace when he wrote the songs. I really used to dig a lot of the songs. There was also, I think, an acoustic "Ballad of..." from Dark Days up there. Great stuff.

We're going to the Outpost on July 25 - 28. Not sure what we're doing with the stuff just yet. I have lots of ideas but nothing solid to report.

I made so many of those acoustic demos that I just got tired of it. I was doing like 3- 4 songs per week at one point. Most of it was crap of course. I recently dusted the thing off to demo the new songs for these sessions and realized it had been over a year since I touched it. I have no attention span. A lot of those demos happened because I was getting out of work every day at 5 and had nothing better to do than drink and record stuff. Now they have me working later, going to classes a couple of nights a week and I've been really busy reading in my free time or watching movies on my new giant TV. haha. And not drinking. So demos are kind of on the back burner. That was kind of fun though maybe some time down the road. One thing I'd like to do if I get normal hours at work again would be to do something like 30 songs in 30 days or something like that. And just write and record a new song each day and see what sticks. I think if I got a $75 subscription to PureVolume then I could post the 30 songs. Or maybe even to Facebook if they don't have a limit. That would be kind of fun.
