ATTN soulless, serenity, portis & MENTALxRUSS

I just wanted to take a minute and welcome the four of you to the Thorp Board. It's kinda rare for people to join our board and jump right into current threads. Some register, then never log in. Some register and only post their plugs for their band/label (which is fine). But you four, especially, MENTALxRUSS, got right into it.

Same goes for juandiablo and Antiseen75, who have only been with us for a few weeks, but have both been throwin' down the posts.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

thanks for the welcome. i'm kind of guilty of lurking here since around when the ducky boys album came out. but i kept coming back (and the new ramallah mp3s convinced me to register). i sound like a suck-up or something, but i like what you guys are doing and i've checked out a bunch of bands i don't know if i would have otherwise heard from reading this stuff.

glad you like the stuff we've been putting out. after nearly 60 realease, we do seem to have developed a pretty diverse roster. and of course, you can get a sample of each and every one of them at http://www.thorprecords.com/mp3s .

excellent... our plan is working! in fact, we'll have two more releases in the store this week - premonitions of war/benumb split & crash and burn.

nice to be appreciated for once, even if it is just the internet.

when I saw the new Ramallah songs posted, I just had to register and bring forth my opinion. Blood For Blood, and Rob Lind especially have had such an impact of my life for the latest 3 years with his true-to-heart-lyrics. the shit he and bfb has been through, is something I can relate to.

well, we're glad to hear it!

if you've spent any time on this board, i'm sure you've noticed we're a pretty low key and mildly entertaining group. the small amount of drama that is brought to the board is kept to the Hate Forum, so feel free to speak up and let us know what's on your mind.

i tend to stick with my opinions to myself, as no one wants to hear them, but thanks anyways.

i'm looking forward to the crash & burn cd.

and i'm with serenity on that second to last post. i've loved everything rob lind has put out - '...but a whimper', blood for blood of course, but definetly the sinners & saints album (that's easily one of my favorite albums ever recorded actually). between rob & mark lind, that's a bunch of my favorite music right there.
