Hahahahaha... this is why I'm liking this board, 'cause you dudes know the score about what h/c was and still is.

The other music related boards I'm on have a majority of these whiney emo kids trying to tell me that hardcore has moved on from my day and this emo/screamo shit is where it's at.

i wouldnt even call it old school, im young and thats what i listen too, cro mags, AF, gorilla biscuits, Dead kennedys, B4B, sheer terror, shit like that and as long as people like me start bands and keep true hardcore alive we be good for the most part

just take a look at the papers
your leaders
they\'re killers
they\'re liars
what they do in your
name to make the bodies pile higher
the murders, the terror
they\'ve done it forever
as we sit band and smile
at the script they sell us
but now the victims, they\'re rising
their numbers\'s multiplying
they want their revenge for the years
that they\'ve been dying

I didn't mean we're all 40 year old guys who were seeing NA back in 81. I meant that, in general, the people on this board tend to prefer the old-school music and meanings behind it as opposed to the weak-ass shit that is often passed off as hardcore these days.
