Chicago out.
for 2016. Kind of sucks...like all things construction has taken a big hit during this recession and even though Chicago would be in debt up to its
eyes for years...it would have put food on a lot of peoples tables.

I'm not trying to pour salt in the wound but I justt think the Olympics are not nearly as important as they used to be. Adding pro athletes just
doesn't seem right to me.
After they gave the nod to Rio, everyone is writing how Obama is losing his luster by not being able to persuade the Committee.
I think it is that I just don't care.

I like how news companies create a big shit storm over a story, and then report on it as if they had nothing to do with the making the situation what
it is.
I like pro athletes in the Olympics. It should be the VERY best each country has to offer.

I wouldn't have watched a single game. Olympics are about as exciting as the PGA. I was just looking forward to the temporary OT.
Obama had nothing to do with the US losing the bid, Lincoln could have came back from the grave and it wouldn't have helped. The USOC was trying to
push through a US based Olympics channel and trying to shake down the IOC and the IOC didn't want to give the US any more leverage than they already
had.
