4 years sober, tomorrow AND...

...my dog turns 5. I'll be honest, his birthday is more significant. I didn't have a tremendous problem with drinking. It certainly didn't make life easier for some of us but hey, I am certainly not looking back.

I share this with this board not to fish for compliments but I know some others on here have had their battles. I didn't have a bad last drunk. I just had a moment of clarity after drinking a case of beer at a neighbor's house and it hit me, "I have a drinking problem". Then that was it. I was done. It was weird but life is about 1,000 times better now oh and my dog is seriously awesome and I can't imagine life without him.

Stay hard doodz

Respect to you, mate.
I've been thinking knocking it on the head recently.

Happy birthday for the pooch, too.

Congrats man. On a side note, I'm drunk as I'm typing this.

Had I of come online last night I would be saying the same lol. One my my semi annual drinking sessions last night.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

congrats. It's something that's crossed my mind as I've been drinking less & less over the past few years, I honestly rarely even have that much fun anymore when I do.

Good on ya,Mo...I'm still dirty as a Frenchman, but without the funny accent...A few things will be deleted, eventually. Sooner, than later. Gotta get my willpower back in action. Started brushing my teeth with my left hand (I am right handed),so it's a half-assed attempt. The greatest journey begins with the most ridiculous pratfall..

Will learn to Tap Dance,eventually...Will have you broads Hula,definitely...Trust me,you'll see.
