ebay seller question.

How long do you wait on someone dragging their feet to pay? Dude who bought a soia record that others are asking if I have, still has not paid. It's been exactly 3 days now. Thinking of relisting it. Would this be a dick move in ebay etiquette?

did you put payment requirement time in your listing? have you written to him? i'd definitely check ebay's policies lest you get in trouble with them.

Dude bought it after 3 minutes of listing. So I immediately sent total to pay. I did not put a pay by certain date.

check ebay's policy. if you don't follow their rules, they won't help.

When listing on eBay ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS have the option check for people to pay via paypal for buy it now. 12 times out of 10 (yes 12 times out of 10) when someone does it buy it now w/o that option they will dick around at their leisure. If the auction ends w/o the buy it now you're at their mercy unless you specify you'll relist in 24 hrs or something.

When my wife and I list anything we have so many caveats in the the listing we must seem like total assholes, no one outside of US, no this, no that etc...but that's because 99.99% of people buying things of eBay are total mouth breather retards.

Ultimately no matter what you do on there unless you overdose on CYA, you're going to lose.

used to give people 10 days.
but that was in the days of mailing checks and cash.
these days there's no reason some jerkoff cant just paypal the dough fucking immediately.

and I'm just going to mention that there seem to be more jerkoffs on there buying / bidding on hardcore related crap that either don't pay or take forever to pay or have some gay assed dispute over shipping charges.

Then...after you finally get the dough, and you go to hell (the post office) they'll deny receiving it, file a PayPal claim and PayPal will side with them refunding their money.
