The Sick Of It All and DKM Show tonight- AMAZING!!!

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best show I have ever been to.

I was waiting for my brother in law at the front door and Lou walked in. I stopped him and grabbed his arm and said, "Um Sir, can I see your ticket please." He got a good laugh out of that. Then I did the same thing to Craig about 20 minutes lates. He was a good dude as well.

I went for SOIA and my brother in law went for DKM. He's never been to this type of "show" before. He thougt SOIA was incredible.

They are TOTAL pros. If you don't react and move to SOIA, something may be amiss.

They played 14 songs and just killed. They have changed the vocals to some songs. Seem to harmonize more I guess and it's awesome. They played 2 new songs and I can NOT fucking wait for the new album.

I just don't get the "Wall of Death" things. oh well.

DKM played some Irish songs. Actually they were fucking great. I wasn't a real fan before tongiht. I'm hooked now. I will always go seem them when they come through. They are REAL loud.

They took a shot at STL. It was preety funny. the bass player said the last time he was in STL was October of 2004 over at some shitty baseball stadium (Editor's note- that's when the Sox won the world series vs. STL). Later he dedicated a song to a guy from STL who is a friend of theirs that died and he referred to STL as "This Fucking Town". Pretty cool I guess.

I had no idea STL had SO MANY Irish people. I'm considering moving my family now.

Best Show Ever. Great vibe a a couple of guys asked my brother in law if he was a Vet (he is). He said, "Yeah I served a while ago." Thes guys shook his hand and thanked him for serviing in a war and that he meant a lot to them because of that.

He was very touched. What a cool fucking thing.

This show was a reminder to me on how to be young and let loose. I felt 10 years younger and was so energized. Thank you SOIA and DKM. Memories I'll have forever.

SCRATCH THE SURFACE = wall of death everytime.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Probably the haircut. Still a Jarhead. I talked to him today (he's ripping outmy driveway right now) and he commented on how cool everyone at the show seems to be. He keeps saying, "Everybody's so nice."
