100 Demons, 99% of this board would probably dig it.

Well the majority of the "hardcore" on thorp is metalcoreish so I just figured people would be into it. People seem to be into bands like leeway and
merauder...

...As Far as Last call goes.. We are not metalcore.. no chugboat flows down this side of the hudson river.. and our guitarists cant play guitar and
eat a sandwich with the hand he is supposed to playing chords or solos with... We started as a hardcore punk band that had a lil metal influence to
it... ..The New Cd is More thrash than anything In my opinion and is some of the best music we have written in our 10 year existence.. and I am
truly proud of it!. and Once again We self financed the CD and the band remains Independent.
I would compare the new tunes to Slayer , Madball and early Metallica Maiden and Sheer terror.. cause that what it reminds me of when i listen to
it..So I dont know what to call it.. We write what we write and thats LAST CALL.. we did'nt start this band and say . we have to sound like Hatebreed
or be Emo ,.. or we want to sound like killswitch..so on and so forth. Nor have we ever jumped on some band wagon to please the Crowd... or conform
to image to get signed ... we have always done our own thing!

Well its certainly metallic, Metallica and Slayer ain't youth crew. Its too bad the word metalcore is so poluted by all this fashion shit that
everyone assumes the worst. I see bands like Merauder and 100 Demons as metalcore and this sits right along side it. Good music is good music.

I wrote that reponsewhenI had Just got home from A smif and Wessun and GURU( GANG STARR).. So I was pumped..lol
Anyway it was twice as long .. Heres the other half
But the main reason for REVIEWS being is after talking with a main writer for a local Newspaper THE TROY RECORD NY . He Had told me they were looking
for someone. to write for a new, once a week edition insert to the paper.. They are trying to target a younger audience. I then told them to start
covering Hardcore Metal, Hard Rock, and Hip hop.. He agreed.. asked if I can write..I told him Yes.... I was an idea I had when I first started
site!.. this just gave me the push to do it.. And if I dont get the Job . Fuck it.. I dont..I had something to motivate me to do this!
