BOUNCING SOULS

I picked up the new one. Not bad kind of weak, but some pretty good stuff.

What are some other releases of theres that are really good?

I like one song off their good bad and argyle.

Some songs off maniacle laughter.

The self titled is their best record.

Hopeless romantic is solid.

How I spent my summer vacation was a disappointment.

Anchors Aweigh is their second best. The snare drum sound on that record is the best I have ever heard on record.

Havnt listened to the new album yet.

I love the self titled most, so many catchy tunes. I saw them like 5-6 months ago in Adelaide and didn't know atleast half of the songs they played. Everyone else was singing loud haha. I guess I need to check out more of their new stuff.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

The new record dances around KICKING MUCH ASS but then it mellows out before it hits a level of kick ass. I like it but it almost reminds me of what H2O tried to do with that really gay Go! record.

Although BOUNCING SOULS do it much better.

That's the self titled one with Cracked, Kate Is Great & all the other good tunes.
