Marky Ramone involved in more potential crap!

Launch Radio Networks reports: RAMONES drummer Marky Ramone is pounding out the beat on a new Christmas single from his punk rock supergroup, OSAKA POPSTAR. The track is titled "The Christmas That Almost Wasn't", and it's the theme song from the 1966 movie of the same name starring Italian actor Rossano Brazzi. OSAKA POPSTAR originally released the song on their debut album "Osaka Popstar & The American Legends Of Punk", which came out earlier this year, and the band has now gotten into the holiday spirit and released it as a single.

Besides Marky Ramone, OSAKA POPSTAR includes Jerry Only from the MISFITS, Dez Cadena from BLACK FLAG, Ivan Julian from RICHARD HELL & THE VOIDOIDS, and longtime RAMONES affiliate John Cafiero.

hard to believe that that line-up could release anything lousy, but if their claim to fame is a novelty christmas album then I guess it isn't too surprising

Why did the punk world have to lose Johnny, Dee-Dee and Joey, but keep Marky!?
