This might seem like a silly question, but why would a regular shopper want multiple copies of several cd's? Wouldn't make more sense to break it
down into a few lots?

it's not for a regular seller
this is a distro ready to go for any kid to resell and make some flow as well as getting some cd's into their local scene that they may not be able to
get at the mall
and I want to know what the reserve is

The deal with the distro is this...I have like 500 cd's here BESIDES my NGS ones...I HATE taking CD's with me to shows. Theres nothing worse than
being stuck at a distro table for 4 hours just to sell one $10 CD. I'd rather be hanging at the bar with friends.
So with all the trades I've done over the years this has left me with quite a pile of CD's...It's come to the point where I'd rather unload the things
all at once for just above cost than to sell them off for $3-5 over the next 27 years. While I don't want to cut my throat on the price...I'd like to
see where this auction goes.

If you have a reserve price set,then you should make your starting bid alot lower.....you will start getting ALOT more bids then you will with a $100
starting bid....(it's easier for someone to place a $10 bid,then it is to place a $100 bid) and once someone starts bidding on an item,they seem to
get caught up in the bid wars,and the price goes up fast.
A person who has already bid on an item,seems to stay more involved with the auction,so instead of just watching the auction until the last day or so
to place their $100 or more bid,they are already caught up in the bidding war,and they want to win. (and you know how you hate to be outbid by someone
else, when just one more dollar bid and it could have been yours).
I may be wrong,but this is something that I've noticed when selling on ebay.

good point...sometimes I forget the world we live in is inhabited by the type of people who would bid on an auction of over 400 cd's because its at
$1.00.

Somthing I've noticed...when doing an ebay search nothing comes up....clicking on the link is fine...but searching "hc...hc cd lot...distro lot" etc
etc, all common search terms I dont see my listing?

1. i am a BIG subscriber of the $1 starting bid. people are more likely to bid at the lower price, then once they have, they're emotionally involved
in the process and are more likely to keep bidding. plus, your listing fees are lower.
2. i've found that new listings take longer and longer to appear in the search results. i'm sure its because their search database is only updated
once every x number of hours, and since they have SO many listings that it takes however many hours to complete once the update begins. That said,
i'm still not seeing yours in the search results.
