chicago returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. once indy got the ball again, they had two penalities, then an interception. it wasn't a good start. things have improved since then, however.

i don't follow football throughout the season, so i'm not THAT into it, but i like to watch the superbowl and the commercials and eat snacks and drink booze. that said, i would have liked to have seen the bears win.

Yeah it was a pretty bad year, although Tomlinson was amazing. Honestly though, this superbowl wasn't too bad. I've seen much worse, atleast it wasn't the pats-packers superbowl or the 49ers-chargers one. I hate blowouts unless my team in involved haha. I hate Peyton Manning but I hate the Bears and the city of Chicago has won enough championships in the last decade.

i was asleep by halftime, interesting first half with all the blunders but overall a pretty crappy game. in my opinion chicago had no business being there....

Decade....I must have missed somthing then....

outside of the Bulls two runs...who should have won the title when their starting lineups were announced first game....stilll last championship was '98...almost outside a decade

Bears haven't won in 22 years...and besides the past 2 years have been wallowing in mediocrity for 20 years

Hawks haven't won in almost 50 years...

Before '05 the Sox hadn't won 90 years.....

The Flubbies got 2 more years to go to make it an even century

I'd say we're due for whatever we can get.

I should've said 25 years then, regardless having Jordan and winning 6 championships in the 90's was nuts. Winning the World Series in 05. And the bears won the SB in 85.

Thats enough for a jaded eagles fan to be a bitter about. Philly hasn't seen a championship since 83 when the sixers won. And the one thing anyone really cares about is the Superbowl which we've never won.

haha, fair enough. outside of the bulls and the freakish 85 bears season we pretty much sucked for a long long long time though.

I'm actually rooting for the Cubs to lose 2 more so they can be mocked for all eternity as the team that didnt win for an entire century.

Yeah trust me as a Philadelphia fan I know about long stretches of bad play...the Eagles were terrible for many years and when they were decent, the Cowboys were at their height, then they sucked some more and got McNabb. The Phillies haven't even made the playoffs since 93. The Sixers sucked balls in the 90's until they got Iverson and then sucked for another 2 years. The Flyers are the only team in the city thats been a contender the last 10 years but still haven't won the cup, came close a lot though.

Who do you root for more though Cubs or the Sox? I'm guessing the Sox haha.
